Cooper Kupp has played his last game with the Los Angeles Rams. He announced on Monday that the team is seeking to trade him immediately, a decision he said, “I don’t agree with.”
Kupp has played all eight years with the Rams and he expected to finish his career with the team that drafted him in 2017, but with a $29.78 million cap hit and a troubling injury history, Los Angeles is moving on.
Shortly after Kupp announced his impending departure from the Rams, two of his teammates reacted to the news on social media. Puka Nacua seemed surprised by the Rams seeking a trade for Kupp, while Quentin Lake expressed how upset he is to hear Kupp won’t be in horns anymore.
So I thought it was just the NBA trade season

Nacua also posted photos of himself and Kupp on Instagram, a clear sign of how much he’s going to miss No. 10.
Safe to say Puka’s gonna miss his boy Coop 😢 pic.twitter.com/Pb7IgsAICD

The Rams are going to work with Kupp to find the best situation for him and his family, something they did with Jalen Ramsey a couple of years ago when he was traded to the Dolphins.
