Pubs selling the cheapest pints in Liverpool that aren't Wetherspoons

Liverpool is home to many different types of pubs offering a wide selection of beers, ales and more.

However, many people may not know where to find the cheapest pints in the city.

Wetherspoons is the go-to for cheap drinks, but you don’t have to limit yourself to just this venue if you’re wanting to save the pennies.

Below are a selection of pubs offering cheap pints in the city, so why not give one of them a visit the next time you’re after a cheap but cheerful drink?

The Swan Inn

Located on Wood Street, The Swan Inn is a traditional “longtime drinking joint” offering a wide selection of ales, beers and spirits, plus it has a jukebox to keep customers entertained while sipping their drinks.

The Swan Inn offers a pint of McEwan’s lager for just £1.99 - a bargain, if you ask us!

86 Wood St, Liverpool, L1 4DQ.

The Blob Shop

Situated in the heart of Liverpool’s city centre, The Blob Shop has traditional decor, live music and plenty of drinks deals to quench your thirst.

The pub’s cheapest pint is priced at £2.15, but if you fancy The Blob shop’s renowned "Aussie Whites", it’s £2.20 for 100ml. If you’ve got a few extra pennies, the famous "BLOB" is priced at £2.40.

The Pilgrim

Located on a cobbled street in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter, The Pilgrim is the ideal place for enjoying a pint in a traditional pub.

Like The Swan Inn, The Pilgrim sells a pint of McEwan’s lager for just £1.99, among other beers and ales.

34 Pilgrim St, Liverpool, L1 9HB.

The Crocodile and Baby Croc

The Crocodile and Baby Croc are pubs in the city centre divided by a courtyard that’s shared by both venues.

Happy Hour starts on Monday at 11.30am and lasts until 6pm on Friday, with pints starting from £2.85 (Tetley Mild) and go up to £3.50 (Strongbow).

The Crocodile and Baby Croc also offer a discount card that can be used at weekends. This means pints are 30p/40p cheaper than normal weekend prices, which start at £3.25 (Bitter) and go up to £4.00 (Guiness and San Miguel).

Harrington St, Liverpool, L2 9QA.

Ye Cracke

If it’s a pint of ale you’re after, Ye Cracke on Rice Street is the place to go.

John Lennon famously drank in this 19th century pub which serves a range of beers, wines and spirits.

Ye Cracke has a wide selection of ales starting from £3.20 a pint.

13 Rice St, Liverpool L1 9BB.
