Patch 27.1 is now live in the PC version of PUBG: Battlegrounds. There are a lot of news content and the biggest of which is the addition of the new RONDO. There are other news additions to be excited about like the new JS9 submachine gun and the stun. Today we'll take a closer look into these two new weapons.
The JS9 is chambered for 9mm ammunition and deliver outstanding damage along with higher weapon stability. What makes this modern bullpup-style firearm an excellent choice is that it's accessible to players with different levels of experience. That's right! While the JS9 does shares mechanics with other submachine guns, the reason it stands out is the combination of versatility, high damage output and relatively low difficulty.
Details include:
- Fire mode: Single, Full-auto
- Damage: 34
- Effective range: 200m
- Muzzle velocity: 400m/s
- Rate of fire: 900 RPM
- Muzzle attachment: All SMG muzzle attachments.
- Magazine attachment: All SMG magazine attachments.
- Can attach up to the 6x Scope.
- Cannot equip Foregrip/Stock attachments.
- World spawns.
- Available only in Rondo.
A Life Saver
Another new weapon is the Stun Gun. This secondary weapon is a good option especially when cornered by an enemy or even unable to prevent a confrontation. When an enemy is hit, they are temporarily disoriented by movement and vision. Players need to be strategic with it considering that it's single fire and can only be used for a maximum of three times.
Enjoy Nature
New as well are creatures are there are two new types introduced. These are:
- Birds
- Precious birds have made their homes in lofty cages scattered throughout Rondo.
- Birds cry when in the presence of nearby players.
- If their cages are damaged, they'll be destroyed, allowing the birds to fly to freedom.
- Birds themselves cannot be damaged.
- Birds are exclusive to Rondo.
- Fishes
- The tranquil ponds of Yu Lin and Tin Long Garden are home to aquatic life.
- These fishes swiftly flee if they sense any threat.
- Fishes cannot be damaged.
- Fishes are exclusive to Rondo.
