The windows of a busy pub were smashed by vandals wearing balaclavas.
Police were called to the Rose and Crown Pub in Wallasey at around 3.30pm, after a number of bricks were thrown through the windows of the popular Wirral pub. Two men dressed in all black and balaclavas were reportedly seen making off from the scene on motorbikes.
The owner of the Rose and Crown, who only took the reins four months ago, is determined not to let this stop the pub from playing a role in the community.
