Pub makes huge throne made of roast dinner ingredients for the Platinum Jubilee

Two pub managers decided to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by creating a huge throne out of roast dinner ingredients - complete with Yorkshire pudding arms.

The Bramley Farm has rebranded as Ma’amhouse Inns in a tribute to Her Majesty ahead of her 70-year anniversary as monarch, as the Daily Star reports.

But Julianne Martin and Donna Pilling, the managers of the pub in Altrincham, Manchester, didn't stop there, as they approached food artist Nathan Wyburn to make something a bit special.

He created a throne fit for the Queen but made completely out of roast dinner ingredients - including Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and broccoli.

Julianne buzzed: "We’re all so excited about the Platinum Jubilee, and this incredible throne perfectly combines our love of all things royal with Farmhouse Inns’ best-in-class carvery.

"The Jubilee may be a couple of weeks away, but that’s not stopped my team kicking things off early and allowing customers to raise a glass (or fork!) to Her Majesty at Bramley Farm."

Whilst Emma Smith, senior marketing manager at Farmhouse Inns, added: "The entire nation is coming together to celebrate the last 70 years of Her Majesty's reign.

"We wanted to make sure Farmhouse Inns across the UK are the perfect place to celebrate and enjoy our fantastic carvery at the same time."

It comes as Brits throughout the country prepare to pack out pubs and host street parties for the landmark royal occasion.
