Publican handing out free pints if Louth beat Dublin in Leinster Senior Championship final

A publican in Dublin has offered punters free pints in four pubs if Louth beat Dublin in the Leinster Championship on Sunday.

However, anyone wishing to avail of the offer must be aware of a few conditions, all of the punters must be on the premises for the duration of the match and all of the pubs are in Drogheda, Dublin Live reports.

Louth hasn’t been in a Leinster Senior Football Championship final since the infamous game against Meath in 2010, and Louth fans still haven't fully recovered from Joe Sheridan's controversial goal that saw Meath win that year.

If Dubin wins, then it will be their 62nd Leinster title while Louth is looking for their first since 1957. This publican thinks it will be a safe bet, with Paddy Power putting a Louth win at 10/1.

Taking to Facebook, Clarkes Bar wrote: "If Louth beat Dublin on Sunday the boss will accept defeat gracefully with a complimentary pint on the house at the end of the game.

"But remember, to be in to win you must be on the premises for the duration of the game. The offer is available in the following Drogheda pubs; Weavers, Maggie Mays, Gleeson and Clarkes."

One person commented: "Gonna be some round in four pubs! tis in the bag! hon the wee county!"

Another asked: "Pint of whiskey count?" While a third said: "Hopefully he'll be paying out."

Dublin takes on Louth on Sunday in Croke Park for the Leinster Senior Football Championship final, marking Louth's first appearance in a Leinster Final since their loss to Meath in 2010.

The match takes place at Croke Park with a 1:45pm throw-in on Sunday, you can catch the match on RTE2 and also on the RTE Player.
