Psychic goat who is 'spookily accurate' at reading fortunes makes Nicola Sturgeon arrest prediction

A psychic goat who is "spookily accurate" at predicting people's fortunes believes former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will not be arrested amid a probe into the SNP finances. Sue Zacharias' pet goat Billy, aged six, also reckons there will be no reconciliation for the troubled Royals.

Animal trainer Sue, who is currently working on Ridley Scott's new film, was given Billy by a friend after her previous fortune-telling goat died. He has performed for audiences across the country, using special animal tarot cards to read the future.

Sue says her grandmother had The Gift and would read tealeaves for the wives of soldiers in Suffolk during World War Two - and passed on her psychic legacy. The mum-of-two currently lives on a farm owned by her ex-husband's parents in Jedburgh, Scottish Borders, along with her children and their families, where they have lived for 13 years and collectively train horses.

When she isn't busy working or with family, Sue travels with Billy - who is the size of a Shetland pony - reading people's fortunes. The gran-of-three, who first started tarot-reading over a decade ago, asks punters to sit with Billy and stroke him until they feel 'grounded', at which point Billy chooses a card for them, using his mouth.

Sue said: "He's hugely popular, when people see him they can't believe he's a fortune-telling goat. They sit down and stroke him and have their fortune told.

"Once the person has stroked the goat for a while, they put their hand on the deck of cards and choose which one feels right - or Billy chooses it for them. We do all these big live shows, we are like a group of story-tellers. It's like a festival and a farm here."

Billy's psychic powers have proved "spookily accurate", and in 2019 he correctly predicted a punter would get married and have a family - and in 2022 he visited again with his wife and baby. Sue said: "The really nice thing is it's the goat doing a psychic reading. People do become calm when they stroke Billy, it's like an epiphany. They go down into a deep zone. It can be quite life-affirming."

Billy was quizzed about the future of the Royal family, the English footie results, and who will win the next general election. He was also asked if Nicola Sturgeon would be arrested in the police probe into SNP finances - but Billy thought she wouldn't be nicked.

Billy predicted a double-whammy of flops for Arsenal fan Keir Starmer, including missing out on becoming PM and his beloved Gunners being pipped to the title by Man City. He decisively revealed there would be no reunion between Princes Harry and William, and that Meghan and Harry would stay hitched.

Billy wasn't very interested in English football results but made a quick decision about the Tories getting in. It took him a couple of minutes to decide that Harry and William wouldn't reconcile - which was also very decisive - and he predicted Meghan and Harry would stay together, when he was asked if they would get a divorce.

Billy was asked whether Sturgeon would be arrested but eventually decided she wouldn't. He was finally asked if aliens would make contact, and Billy decided they wouldn't.
