PSV Eindhoven have welcomed back injured trio Luuk de Jong, Noni Madueke and Mauro Junior to their matchday squad for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Arsenal.
The early evening kick-off in north London was rearranged from last month after the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Dutch side have named their replenished travelling party.
Club captain De Jong’s return will be a big boost to Eindhoven after the summer signing from Barcelona suffered a calf injury at the end of August, sparking something of a crisis at the top of their attack.
Guus Til, who scored a brace in the weekend 6-1 win over Utrecht, is set to start against Arsenal however with De Jong not expected to make the XI.
Young winger Madueke, an England youth international formerly of Tottenham, should also make the bench for PSV having overcome a serious ankle injury.
He is yet to appear this season, like Brazilian full-back Junior who returns from a groin issue.
Olivier Boscagli, Marco van Ginkel, Yorbe Vertessen and Ismael Saibari will miss the trip for the Eredivisie club.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are sweating over Gabriel Martinelli’s fitness ahead of Thursday’s game.
The Brazilian suffered a calf injury at the win over Leeds and is also suffering from illness, while Oleksandr Zinchenko remains absent with a calf problem.
