Concrete barriers outside a police station will be gone within weeks, the PSNI has said.
The barriers have been in place at the large base in the Lisnagelvin area of Derry's Waterside for several years but are expected to be gone once ongoing construction work is finished.
Work is ongoing for a "purpose built custody suite" at the station, police say.

PSNI Superintendent Clive Beatty told Belfast Live: “Concrete barriers have been in place as a temporary safety measure while construction work is ongoing at Waterside PSNI Station since November 2019."
He continued: "This work, in relation to a new purpose built custody suite, is due to be completed in June 2023."
The Superintendent added: "Upon termination of the work it is envisaged the temporary concrete barriers will be removed.”
