Like their opponents, Manchester City have struggled in the UEFA Champions League so far this term. The Cityzens endured a dastardly run of form at the back end of 2024.
However, the Premier League champions are looking back to their best. In typical City fashion, they spanked relegation-threatened Ipswich 6-0 on the weekend.
Phil Foden scored twice and interestingly, the England star is the top scorer in England’s elite since the turn of the year. Five of his six top flight goals have been netted in 2025.
On the continent, Pep Guardiola’s side are one point and three places ahead of PSG. Similar to the French champions, much more was expected of them at this stage of the league phase.
