Paris Saint-Germain have an 'interest' in Erling Haaland, according to reports.
PSG were knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16 once again last week and the Parisians are said to be preparing their summer transfer plans with a rebuild on the horizon that could see Neymar and Lionel Messi depart. Haaland, who notched his 33rd goal of the season to see Manchester City defeat Crystal Palace on Saturday, is reportedly on their shortlist.
City only signed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for £51million but his remarkable form in front of goal has inevitably led to speculation his stay in Manchester could be swift. AS relays a report from RMC which states that PSG have an 'interest' in working on a deal to form a 'dream duo' with Kylian Mbappe.
RATINGS: Rodri good as Haaland struggles in Palace win
The Blues will almost certainly rebuff any approach for their new star striker in the summer, with the reported £200million release clause in the Norwegian's contract not set to come into effect until 2024. The report adds that Haaland's teammate, Bernardo Silva, is also a possible signing for PSG. The Portuguese has been looking to return to mainland Europe for the last two years but City have yet to receive any offer for him.
Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany is keen to keep hold of City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis past his initial loan at Burnley. The City icon has done a great job since taking over at Turf Moor and looks set to lead his side to an immediate return to the Premier League.
Highly-rated centre-back Harwood-Bellis has been a key figure in the transformed Burnley and Alan Nixon, via InsideFutbol, reports Kompany will do all he can to bring him back to the club next season. The 21-year-old's current contract is set to expire next year but City may move to secure his future when he returns.
