If you’re in the market for a tattoo but you’ve been feeling the ~pinch~ of your wallet in this economy, here’s your chance: you can get a FREE flash tattoo in Sydney on Friday October 4. Apols to all those in different cities, but maaaaybe you could get a cheap flight over?
It’s all to promote the hotly-anticipated horror film Smile 2, which hits cinemas exclusively on October 17. Those wanting to get their mitts on a complimentary tattoo simply have to make their way to Markd Tattoo at 132 Redfern Street in Redfern, between 10am and 6pm on Friday.
Customers need to be over the age of 18 and you can’t book in advance, so be prepared. The Sydney tattoo parlour will take walk-ins only, and you’ll have to sign a consent form on the day. And before you start imagining an elaborate sleeve, the freebies are limited to one tattoo per person.

There are some subtle tattoos that reference the movie, or even just a lil’ smiley face for the non-horror girlies out there. I kinda love the “everyone dies” tattoo though, because, vibes.
Markd Tattoo revealed on Instagram that their artists designed the tattoo sheet specifically for World Smile Day, and confirmed that you don’t need to book in for another tattoo to be eligible.
So start working on your in-office cough and get prepared to throw a sickie, as this is an event you won’t want to miss!
