PS Plus subscribers have a matter of weeks to play some excellent games before Sony removes them from the Extra and Premium libraries.
A total of 25 titles are departing the subscription service in mid-May, including several classics from the Final Fantasy series and acclaimed indies like Abzu.
The games are all listed in the “Last chance to play” section on PS Plus, indicating that they will be pulled from the service soon.

What games were added in April?
To make matters worse, the new games that are replacing the outgoing ones don’t look that great.
The big addition in April is Dave the Diver, a Bafta-winning underwater adventure that packs plenty of belly laughs. It arrives with the rest of the pack today (April 16).
Meanwhile, the jury is still out on brand new games Tales of Kenzera: Zau (April 23) and Animal Well (May 9).
All in all, PS Plus is getting 16 new additions from today onwards, including three retro games for the Premium tier: Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire, and MediEvil.
All PS Plus subscribers also have until May 7 to download this month’s trio of free games, including 2023’s Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends and Skul: The Hero Slayer.
You can keep these games even after you cancel your subscription, so it’s worth grabbing them even if you don’t have time to play them right away - as long as you have enough storage space that is.
How much is PS Plus?
Last September, Sony raised the price of a 12-month PS Plus membership for all three subscription plans by up to 20 per cent.
In the UK, the Essential plan, which gives access to online multiplayer and a handful of free monthly games each month, currently costs £59.99.
For the ability to play a library of games, you have to pay £99.99 for PS Plus Extra, while the Premium plan costs £119.99.
Despite the increase, paying for a whole year in advance is still better value than signing up on a rolling monthly deal. Essential costs £6.99 a month (or £83.88 over 12 months), Extra is £10.99 a month (£131.88 annually), and Premium is £13.49 (£161.88).
