As we reported last month, the Scottish Government announced children will return to Scottish schools from August 11 - if coronavirus continues to be suppressed.
However, this start date could vary from council to council across the country, with some teachers and other school staff having already returned this month.
And school will likely look very different to what our kids are used to when August rolls around - class sizes could be smaller, social distancing is likely to be in place, while a 'blended' teaching method could see pupils having their week split between being taught by teachers in schools and by parents at home. Children may arrive at and leave at different times and break times could be staggered.
According to Glasgow City Council, pupils will return to their schools on August 13, with teachers and staff on duty for in-service days on August 11 and 12 - although this could of course vary per school.
The council have set out the following diary of provisional school term dates for the rest of 2020 and into 2021 on their website:
