Proud Ukrainian Mila Kunis was once pictured having a meeting of minds with the president over dinner.
Actress Mila, 38, and her husband Ashton Kutcher, 44, were pictured in 2019 breaking bread with President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The foursome were pictured hanging out and looked to be deep in conversation.
Smiling and laughing while they dined together, one snap showed Mila and Ashton, who starred together on That 70s Show, looking at each other while their political pals sat across the table from them.
In another, they looked deep in conversation, with Mila holding up her thumb as if she was counting to illustrate her points, while the other three watched her intently.
Olena shared the snaps on her Instagram account, alongside a caption that translates in English to: "Pleasant acquaintance, lively conversation and real pleasure from communication."
The president also spoke about the meeting at the time, saying: "Today I met with Ukrainian-born Mila Kunis and actor and producer Ashton Kutcher. We had a very fruitful conversation about cinema, in particular about the development of the Ukrainian film industry, as well as ways to attract investment in it."
Volodymyr and Olena spoke in English during the meeting, with Ashton noting they were both fluent.
During the meeting, the two couples are said to have chatted about film, politics, gender equality, technology and the development of tourism in Ukraine.
Afterwards, Mila said the president was "a very interesting, intelligent and dedicated person".
Mila was born in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi, and relocated to the United States when her Jewish family fled conflict in Soviet Ukraine.
Mila and Ashton have been incredibly vocal about their support for Ukraine after war between the country and Russia broke out.
The couple have pledged $3m to help the country through the devastating invasion.
They've offered to match donations of up to $3m on their GoFundMe page to help those whose lives have been ripped apart by the war.
Speaking in a video posted on Ashton's Instagram page, Mila said: "I moved here in 1991 and I've always considered myself an American. I love everything this country has done for myself and my family. But today I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian."
"And I couldn't be more proud to be married to a Ukrainian", Ashton added.
Mila continued: "The events that have unfolded in the Ukraine are just devastating, there is no place in this world for such an unjust attack on humanity."
At the time of writing, more than $18m had been raised for the cause, which hopes to pull in $30m.
Mila wrote on the page: "Today, I am a proud Ukrainian. While my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating and the Ukrainian people need our support. Our family is starting this fund to help provide immediate support and we will be matching up to $3 million dollars.
"While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Countless amounts of people have left everything they know and love behind to seek refuge. With nothing but what they could carry, these Ukrainian refugees are in need of housing and supplies right away."
She added: "Through GoFundMe.org, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most.
" Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.
" Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine.
"We need your support to help Ukrainians. As a community, we are aiming to raise $30 million dollars. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those affected. Please join us today by donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and communities. We stand with Ukraine."
