Fayette County citizens are being invited to offer their thoughts Tuesday night about proposed draft maps to expand the Urban Service Area. The roughly 3000 acres up for consideration came from the Urban Growth Management Advisory Committee. It’s been meeting on Tuesday mornings to get to this point. The draft maps include acreage near the interstate and Richmond Road, near I-64 and Winchester Road and land near the airport. Tuesday’s meeting is scheduled from six o clock to 9:00 at City Hall.
