A fire has taken hold at a property near a school on Amochrie Road in Paisley's Foxbar area.
A video of the blaze seen by the Paisley Daily Express shows onlookers standing in a field next to the house watching flames, metres high, streaming from the top of a house near Gleniffer High School.
The blaze started sometime around 2.45pm, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service being alerted at 2.49pm.
Two appliances were rushed to the scene and were later joined by two more, all are currently on site trying to put the flames out.
Nobody has been reported injured yet.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.49pm on Wednesday, March 22, to reports of a house fire at Amochrie Road, Paisley.
“Operations Control initially mobilised two appliances to the scene and on arrival firefighters found the dwelling well alight.
“Two further appliances were mobilised and firefighters are currently on scene working to extinguish the fire.
“No casualties have been reported.”
