One of the UEFA Conference League's top goal scorers has returned to Celtic training this week.
Johnny Kenny, 21, is back at Celtic following a highly-successful loan spell at Shamrock Rovers.
The Sligo-born striker netted five times and provided one assist from his six appearances in Europe's third competition, while also scoring twice during Champions League qualifiers last summer.
Overall, Kenny was on the scoresheet 20 times for the League of Ireland side during the 2024 season, and now Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to take a closer look at the player.

Kenny, formerly of Sligo Rovers, signed for the Hoops on a five-year deal in January 2022, but has failed to make a first team impact so far.
With limited options in the forward line, primarily relying on Kyogo Furuhashi and Adam Idah, Kenny's return is timely.
Versatile players like Daizen Maeda can also play centrally, but the addition of Kenny provides further depth to the squad as Celtic strive to maintain their domestic dominance and also progress beyond the league-phase of the Champions League.
