In just five days, the Cleveland Browns will have the opportunity to add young talent to their roster via the 2023 NFL draft. This comes on the heels of a successful free agency period where they were able to make substantial upgrades to the defensive side of the football.
Entering the draft, the amount of starting opportunities shrank dramatically. This gives the Browns the opportunity to draft for the future rather than forcing themselves to play young players immediately (as it should be).
If the season started today, however, what would the starting lineup in Cleveland look like after spending in free agency? For this exercise, we are assuming 11 personnel on offense (one running back, one tight end, and three wide receivers) and base 4-3 defense on the other side of the ball.
