Professional boxing has produced some of the finest athletes ever in its  long history, including Danny Garcia who has demonstrated his ability to defeat the finest.

As one of the top fighters currently in competition, Garcia(37-3, 21) possesses one of the best left hooks in boxing history. Before winning the 140-pound weight class twice in 2016, Garcia was also the undisputed champion in that weight class.

Garcia from  Philadelphia was trained by his father, Angel Garcia, a former boxer himself. Garcia’s professional achievements are thus opening doors for him to be inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

A recent Instagram video of Garcia rapping inside a recording booth went viral.

“I rhyme and I box like the great Ali,” said Danny Garcia in an Instagram post.

Prior to his professional debut, Garcia had an impressive amateur record of 107-13. In addition, he won a national amateur title in 2006 and a national championship under 19 in 2005.

In March 2012, Garcia  prevailed by a unanimous decision to win the WBC super lightweight championship over Erik Morales, a rising star from Mexico.

After defeating former four-ivision champion Robert Guerrero in January 2016, he became the two-time champion of the division. Furthermore, Garcia emerged victorious with a unanimous ruling to secure the WBC Welterweight World Title.

Terence Crawford, the undefeated Welterweight champion, is currently holding the championship and he and Garcia have had some back and forth correspondence.

Angél Garcia, the father to Danny Garcia is ranked seventh by Transnational Boxing and sixth by The Ring worldwide. Garcia is ranked eighth in the world by “BoxRec.”

Not many people are aware that Garcia has been a dedicated rapper for nearly ten years.

The professional boxer frequently finds time to compose music and has been a featured performer in music videos.

Since he isn’t well-known for his music, people on social media were shocked to see him rap recently.

“Better than Ice Spice,”  said one fan in reference to Garcia’s rapping abilities.

“Garcia should keep doing what he does best and that his music is not very good,” said majority of the supporters.
