A Scots football club has launched an investigation after 'disgusting' racial abuse was allegedly hurled at a player during a game.
Nairn County FC chiefs are scouring video footage and threatening a life ban following the shocking claims from their game against Huntly on Wednesday at Station Park.
The club secretary, Ian Finlayson, confirmed on Friday that a probe was launched when the allegations were made earlier that day.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward, reports Aberdeen Live.
Finlayson released a statement on social media warning 'we will find you out and we will throw you out' should the claims of racist abuse be true.
It read: "There is no place for this at Station Park.
"We have immediately launched an investigation into this incident and will look at video footage from the game and other materials to see if we can identify the individual/s responsible.
"We ask that if any person has any evidence of this incident they pass it on to the club in confidence either by email via nairncountyfc@highlandleague.com or by contacting secretary Ian Finlayson directly on 07821 828852."
It continued: "If we can identify any persons responsible they will be banned for life from Station Park and from any game, event or function featuring Nairn County FC.
"In addition we will pass on any evidence gathered to the police so that appropriate action can be taken.
"Let me be very clear, any person holding discriminatory views of any kind is not welcome at Nairn County.
"We will find you and we will throw you out."
'Disgusted' Huntly bosses also responded to the claims stressing they 'condemn all forms of discrimination'.
It read: "Huntly Football Club were made aware following our match vs Nairn County on Wednesday, March 23 of alleged racial abuse being directed at a member of our playing staff.
"We strongly condemn all forms of discrimination and are disgusted that abuse of such nature has been directed at a member of our playing staff.
"We cannot be clearer that anyone behind such disgusting behaviour is not welcome in society let alone a football match.
"We will do all we can to support the player affected while urging the toughest punishments possible for those responsible.
"Finally, we will provide ongoing support to our colleagues at Nairn County FC, who have dealt with this matter with the utmost professionalism, in respect of their investigation and review footage of the match in an attempt to bring justice to the matter and have the people responsible for such a disgusting act punished appropriately."
