Former Oasis frontman and lifelong Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher is adamant Liverpool will prove difficult to beat on Saturday despite their tumultuous Premier League campaign so far.
The Reds make the short trip to East Manchester in the Premier League's first post-international break fixture, looking to make a late-season push for Champions League qualification.
Pep Guardiola's side, meanwhile, will be hoping to avenge their 1-0 defeat at Anfield back in October as they hope to apply pressure on top-of-the-table Arsenal and secure a fourth Premier League title in five years.

But despite the contrasting fortunes of both Liverpool and City since the enthralling end to the last Premier League campaign in May 2022, Gallagher believes Klopp's men will "put it all on the line" come Saturday lunchtime.
Speaking to talkSPORT about the fixture, he said: “We know what Liverpool team is going to turn up because they always turn up against us. Always.
"They will put it all on the line against us tomorrow morning and then probably be dreadful in the game after that."
Liverpool's chances of securing a first Premier League victory at the Etihad stadium since November 2015 this week received a boost after the news both Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz had made a return to team training after their respective spells on the sidelines.
Nunez had withdrawn from Uruguay's international squad for the fixtures against South Korea and Japan after suffering a cut to the ankle against Real Madrid on March 15. Meanwhile, Diaz has not played since sustaining a serious knee injury in the defeat at Arsenal on October 9 and later suffered a setback in the Reds' mid-season training camp in Dubai.
