Pro Wrestling Scotland returns to Lanarkshire with exciting family-friendly show

Pro Wrestling Scotland returns to Lanarkshire later this month with a family friendly show for grappling fans.

The NCT Centre in Newmains plays host to an evening of hard-hitting action on Friday, December 16, featuring some of the best young Scottish superstars.

The first of two main events of the evening is signed and sealed as Daz Black will defend his PWS Openweight championship in a six man elimination match which include Martin Kirby, Kid Fite, Ray Berani, Davie Blaze and an unnamed opponent.

Thomas Mackrell, from PWS, said: “Daz Black is one off the best most exciting wrestlers not just in the UK but in the world right now.

“Martin Kirby is one of the most decorated wrestlers in all of the UK holding tag team and singles gold up and down the country.

“Kid Fite one off the originals to bring world class wrestling back to the UK a former Heavyweight Openweight and tag team champion all over the country

“The sixth man will be the winner off our 10 man battle royal from earlier in the show we will see some up and coming talent as well as some established stars from PWS compete for the opportunity at the PWS Openweight championship

“This one is worth the admission price alone.”

The second half of the double main event will see Wishaw wrestler Krieger make his first PWS title defence in a huge triple threat elimination match.

He defends against the man he beat in the final of the heavyweight tournament back in September - the man they call The Sheik and wrestling monster Shreddy.

Thomas added: “Sheik had Krieger’s shoulders down for the three count with his feet on the ropes we have to say.

“The Sheik has demanded a rematch and it has been granted, however the unknown factor in the match is the man mountain monster making his Pro Wrestling Scotland debut Shreddy.”

Other wrestlers confirmed for the night are Newmains grapplers Dean Ford and Mark Munro, who will be in tag team action as well as former WWE NXT star Angel Hayes who is taking on Lizzy Evo.

The show on December 16 starts at 7.30pm with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are available now from the Ringside World website.
