One of the leading pro-Trump super PACs, Restoration PAC, has reported a significant contribution from a single megadonor in the third quarter, according to new Federal Election Commission filings. The filings reveal that ultra-wealthy conservatives have been rallying to support former President Donald Trump.
Restoration PAC raised a total of $51.8 million in the third quarter, with an overwhelming $48.8 million coming from Midwestern shipping magnate Dick Uihlein. Uihlein's contributions to Restoration PAC this year now amount to $58.9 million. The super PAC has raised a total of $62.6 million so far this election cycle and is currently directing substantial funds towards advertising in key battleground states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
Another prominent pro-Trump super PAC, Preserve America, also disclosed a substantial fundraising achievement. The group reported raising an impressive $95 million in the third quarter, with conservative megadonor Miriam Adelson contributing the majority. Adelson's total contributions to Preserve America for this year have reached $100 million, further bolstering the financial resources available for the pro-Trump campaign.
