Pro-Palestinian Protesters Gather At White House Against Gaza Conflict

A general view of the White House in Washington

Pro-Palestinian protesters are assembling in Washington, D.C. for what they have termed 'Surround the White House for Gaza.' The demonstration is aimed at drawing attention to their red line regarding President Biden's support of Israel.

The organizers are mobilizing hundreds of grassroots volunteers for a massive people's red line demonstration set to commence at noon at the White House. This marks the third major pro-Palestinian rally in D.C. since October 7th.

Previous protests have seen significant turnout, with participants traveling from states like Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois to voice their frustrations. A coalition of pro-Palestinian and anti-war protesters, including members of Code Pink, are uniting to convey a message to the president and policymakers in Washington.

During past demonstrations, protesters have employed symbolic gestures such as throwing bloody dolls at the White House gate and using red paint to represent blood on the hands of the Biden administration. While the president's team has expressed support for peaceful protests, they have denounced chaos and violence.

Security measures have been heightened by the Secret Service in anticipation of a large crowd, including the installation of anti-scale fencing. The protesters are determined to make their voices heard and to challenge the administration's stance on the conflict in Gaza.
