Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough reach settlement over Lisa Marie's estate after bitter feud

Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough have finally reached a settlement over Lisa Marie's multi-million dollar estate.

The only child of Rock legend, Elvis Presley, died in January aged 54 after being hospitalised following an apparent cardiac arrest at her California home.

Shortly after her death, her mother Priscilla, 77, disputed a 2016 amendment to her daughter’s will which stated that Lisa Marie Presley removed her mother and former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees.

The document said they had been replaced with her children, Riley and Benjamin Keough. Benjamin Keough later died in 2020.

The petition, filed in January and obtained by the Mirror, alleged Presley did not receive the amendment while her daughter was alive, as required by her Trust. It had also misspelt Priscilla’s name.

Lawyers for Priscilla and Riley - who is currently starring in the hit Prime TV series Daisy Jones and the Six - announced that the two had "reached a settlement."

“The parties would like to report that they’ve reached a settlement,” Ronson Shamoun, Priscilla Presley’s attorney, told Judge Lynn Scaduto at a court hearing in Los Angeles.

Outside the court, the lawyer added: "They have reached a settlement. Families are happy.

”Everyone is happy. Unified and together and excited for the future," Ronson continued.

Riley's attorney, Justin Gold, echoed a similar message, saying: "She would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it. She is very content.”

The 33-year-old was reportedly furious at her grandmother's move to take the matter to court, but didn't file an objection to Priscilla's challenge.

It's now become clear that the two have buried the hatchet and settled their differences.

While it's unlikely that the terms of the settlement will be known to the public as the duo had planned to file a motion to seal the details of the settlement to keep them from the public eye.

Lawyers also confirmed that a second trust involving Lisa Marie's insurance policies , thought to total $35million, had been settled between the pair.

In March, it was claimed Priscilla had been locked out of Graceland by Keough.

According to reports, she was banned from the estate temporarily after her eldest granddaughter “changed the locks on the upstairs doors and archives”.

Previously Lisa Marie, her mother and Vice President of Archives and Exhibits at Graceland, Angie Marchese, were the only ones with keys.

Lisa Marie Presley’s cause of death remains under review, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.
