One of the top players in the 2023 recruiting cycle has set a decision date, and it’ll be one that Ohio State is very, very interested in.
Four-star offensive tackle Luke Montgomery, out of Findlay, Ohio has been a priority target for Ryan Day and the coaching staff. At 6-foot, 5-inches, and 260-pounds, Montgomery is ranked as the No. 6 offensive tackle, and 62nd overall prospect in the entire class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
A nearing commitment wasn’t thought to be in the cards, but that all changed when Montgomery announced his intentions to make his decision known on Twitter Monday. That date will be next Thursday at 3 p.m. EST.
Committing on February 17th at 3 pm est on CBS and will be live on Instagram (lukemonty_). This will be held at Findlay High school in the gym. Anyone is welcomed!

Stay tuned to this one because things look really good for OSU. Many of the crystal ball predictions have Montgomery as a heavy lean to become a Buckeye, and a timetable that has been moved up has to be seen as a positive sign.
