The Princess of Wales is scheduled to make a rare public appearance at the Wimbledon men's final on Sunday following her cancer diagnosis. Kensington Palace has confirmed that Kate, the wife of Prince William, will be present in the Royal Box on Centre Court to witness defending champion Carlos Alcaraz take on Novak Djokovic.
While Kate will be attending the men's final, she will not be present at Saturday's women's final featuring Jasmine Paolini and Barbora Krejcikova. The winner's trophy for the women's final will be presented by Deborah Jevans, the chair of the All England Club.
Since 2016, Kate has served as the patron of the All England Club, with one of her ceremonial duties being the presentation of the winner's trophy after each men's and women's singles final. However, she has only made one public appearance since revealing her cancer diagnosis in March, which was at the birthday parade for King Charles III earlier this year.
