The Princess of Wales has left hospital to recuperate at home after undergoing abdominal surgery.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said on Monday: “The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress.
“The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided.
“The Wales family continues to be grateful for the well wishes they have received from around the world.”
It is understood that following her 13 night stay in hospital, Kate will now recuperate at home.

Her return to official duties will depend on medical advice closer to the time. Once the Princess of Wales’ care and recovery is settled, the Prince of Wales plans to recommence public engagements.
Kate was admitted to the private London hospital for the scheduled treatment on January 16.
Her surgery was announced shortly before the news the King was to undergo a procedure for an enlarged prostate.
After going into hospital, Charles took time to visit Kate as she recovered.
Charles was twice visited by the Queen on Sunday, the third and fourth times she has been to see him at the private hospital since they arrived.
Camilla told people inside The London Clinic on Friday that the King was "doing well" after the procedure.
Downing Street welcomed the Princess of Wales leaving hospital.
The Prime Minister’s official spokesman said: "That would be welcome news both to the royal family and I’m sure to the public more widely."
