Princess Kate wears £20 Zara skirt as she visits Wales with Prince William

The Prince and Princess of Wales have visited Wales ahead of St David's Day. The couple made the surprise visit to carry out various engagements in south Wales to champion mental health initiatives and meet local communities.

Princess Kate, 41, looked incredible for the occasion in a white turtle-neck top and a black and white houndstooth skirt. Kate's stand-out skirt is from the high-street store Zara and cost just £19.99.

Sadly, the number is now sold out as it was from the store's previous season. However, according to The Express, the A-line midi skirt can be found second-hand on Resell Zara, the store's pre-owned section that allows customers to extend the life of their items by reselling or donating items.

Finishing the look, the mum-of-three opted for a tailored cream coat with a pinned daffodil in the lapel and black knee-high boots. She accessorised with a Mulberry bag and a sleek black pair of gloves.

It was a busy day for the royal couple as Kate Middleton and Prince William started with a tour of a new garden that is being developed at Brynawel Rehabilitation Centre near Pontyclun. The site will include a collection of allotments where individuals can have their own space to learn and grow produce.

Then they moved on to the Aberavon Leisure & Fitness Centre to meet local communities and hear about how sport and exercise can support mental health and wellbeing before the Prince and Princess of Wales went head-to-head on exercise bikes.

Finally, the couple visited the headquarters of the Wales Air Ambulance in Llanelli, where Their Royal Highnesses met with emergency workers, volunteers and supporters. You can read our live blog for updates on the visit here.
