Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have welcomed their second child together, a son named Ernest, the royal pair have announced.
The granddaughter of the late Queen shared sweet photos of her new baby on Instagram on Monday, including one of Ernest tucked up asleep in his bassinet and another snap of his big brother, Eugenie and Jack's first child August, watching over him. 33-year-old Eugenie revealed that she gave birth last Tuesday as she shared the happy news, along with her son's full name.
"Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs," she wrote on Instagram. "He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald."

Eugenie, who studied at Newcastle University back in 2009, added: "Augie is loving being a big brother already." Friends and royal fans were quick to share their congratulations over the new arrival in the comments section, with the photos of little Ernest quickly earning hundreds of thousands of likes.
The princess announced news of her pregnancy in January, sharing a cute snap of August hugging and kissing her baby bump. "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer," Eugenie wrote alongside the heart-warming photo.
Eugenie married husband Jack at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in October 2018, and the pair welcomed their first son - full name August Philip Hawke Brooksbank - in February 2021. The tot made an appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee pageant celebrations last year, wearing a Union flag jumper as Eugenie bounced him up and down on her knee in the royal box.
As the newest member of the royal family, Ernest - whose official title is Master Brooksbank - is 13th in line to the throne after his big brother, shifting Prince Edward down into 14th place. A heavily pregnant Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, joined the Windsors to witness her uncle King Charles' coronation in Westminster Abbey last month.
