Princess Charlotte made a surprise appearance alongside her parents at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham today.
The seven-year-old joined her dad Prince William and mum Kate at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre to watch some of the heats in the swimming competition - her first public outing without either of her brothers Prince George or Prince Louis.
And the little princess looked engrossed in the action as she pointed towards the pool, pulled a series of excitable faces and had a protective arm placed around her by Kate.
She wore a black and white stripped dress and had her hair in plaited pig tails while her mum looked chic in an all white suit - she has worn several times before.
Sitting behind the trio were their relatives Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, who were also at the Games yesterday.
Kate embraced Edward, Sophie and their children before taking her seat next to Charlotte on arrival at the aquatics centre.
The duchess was pointing and explaining things to her daughter, while William held one of the official programmes.
The royals were cheering and applauding alongside the crowd for England 1,500m freestyle hopeful Luke Turley.
After rolling her eyes following a comment from her father, Charlotte then cracked a smile as Turley’s heat came to a close.

Later the family were also spotted at the England v India hockey match, where Charlotte seemed a little bored and held her face in her hands.
They also paid a visit to the Team England Futures programme, a partnership between SportsAid, of which the Duchess is Patron, Sport England, and Commonwealth Games England.
There they met Team England support staff and Charlotte got to update Team England's all-important medals wall.
Senior royals have been attending the Games this week - as they Queen, who is 96 years old, continues her annual summer break at Balmoral.
The sporting event had its opening ceremony last week, with Charlotte's grandfather Prince Charles officially declaring the Games open.
Addressing the crowd on behalf of the Queen, Charles said: “On October 7 last year, this specially created Baton left Buckingham Palace to travel across the Commonwealth.
“Over the past 294 days, it has carried not only my message to you, but also the shared hopes and dreams of each nation and territory through which it has passed, as it made its way to Birmingham.
“Over the years, the coming together of so many for the ‘Friendly Games’ has created memorable shared experiences, established long standing relationships, and even created some friendly rivalries.
“But above all they remind us of our connection with one another, wherever we may be in the world, as part of the Commonwealth family of nations.”
Charlotte's day out at the Games comes just days after she sent a supportive message to England's victorious Lionesses with her dad William.
Before they recorded their emphatic final win against Germany to lift the European championships trophy, she wished them the best of luck as they prepare to take on Germany at Wembley in the final of Euro 2022.
In a recorded message posted on Twitter, William said: “We both want to wish the Lionesses the best of luck for tonight.
“You’ve done amazing well in the competition and we are rooting for you all the way.”
Charlotte, at William’s side, said: “Good luck, I hope you win. Bye”.
