Prince William Updates On Princess Kate's Cancer Battle

Prince William South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol visits Britain

Prince William recently gave a rare update on his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, who is currently battling cancer. The Prince of Wales visited James' Place Newcastle in England, where he confirmed that his wife has postponed public duties to focus on her treatment.

During his visit, Prince William assured well-wishers that his family, including Princess Kate, is doing well. This marked his third day of royal duties since the announcement of his wife's diagnosis. The prince also visited the 2022 Earthshot Prize finalist, Low Carbon Materials, during his engagement at James' Place.

On the same day, King Charles III, Prince William's father, returned to public duties following his own cancer diagnosis. The 75-year-old monarch visited the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre, accompanied by Queen Camilla. The palace confirmed that King Charles is still undergoing treatment for his cancer while resuming his royal engagements.

Prince William's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, recently returned to school after the Easter break. The prince had taken time off to spend with his children and has now resumed his public duties.

King Charles III's upcoming engagements include hosting the emperor and empress of Japan for a state visit in June. The monarch's decision to share his cancer diagnosis was aimed at preventing speculation and raising awareness about the disease.

Princess Kate Middleton, in a video shared in March, revealed that she is also undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Postoperative tests following her abdominal surgery in January confirmed the presence of cancer. The Princess of Wales continues to take a break from royal duties as she focuses on her recovery.
