Prince William to visit Scottish charities tackling rural isolation

PRINCE William is set to visit mental health charities in Scotland which focus on rural isolation tomorrow.

The Prince of Wales will visit Angus to spotlight community led organisations that are helping to tackle rural isolation and loneliness.

He will visit East Scryne Farm and Carnoustie and Monifieth Men’s Shed in Carnoustie.

Last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales worked with a local charity to launch a mental health programme supporting those living on the Sandringham Estate and in the surrounding areas.

(Image: PA) He also worked with his brother Prince Harry in 2016 to launch a mental health initiative called Heads Together.

The event is the first royal date in Angus since a visit to Brechin, where King Charles was to meet with victims of Storm Babet, which was called off in January 2024 due to heavy snow.

It comes after his father visited an Alloa food bank in January.
