Prince William seen supporting Prince George at funeral for Queen Elizabeth II

The Prince of Wales was seen supporting his son, Prince George as they attended the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince George, nine, joined the procession behind the coffin at Westminster Abbey alongside his sister Charlotte, seven, and other members of the Royal Family. As he passed the coffin his father, William was seen placing his hand gently on his shoulder.

Prince William and Harry both looked sombre as they entered the Abbey, while Prince Edward, the Queen's youngest son, wiped away tears as he took his seat. The Queen's coffin is being carried by The Imperial State Crown, The Orb and The Sceptre and borne by the Bearer Party.

Walking behind was the The Queen Consort, The King, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Princess Royal, The Duke of York, The Countess of Wessex and Forfar, The Earl of Wessex and Forfar, They were filled by The Princess of Wales, The Prince of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, Prince George of Wales, The Duchess of Sussex, The Duke of Sussex.

After that The Earl of Snowdon, Mr Peter Phillips, The Duke of Gloucester, Prince Michael of Kent, The Duke of Kent, Household of The former Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall: Private Secretary, Principal Private Secretary and Equerry, Master of the Household all followed behind.

There were more than 2,000 people in attendance including many heads of state, former prime ministers and members of the public.
