Prince William's surprise appearance at an Aston Villa match this weekend saw him don a posh luxury watch - and it's one that a special meaning behind it.
The Prince of Wales and his nine-year son Prince George were spotted in the executive boxes for the Premier League fixture at Villa Park in Birmingham on Saturday.
The pair seem to clearly enjoy their favourite team's victory over a lacklustre Nottingham Forest.
Not everyone's attention has been on the events on the pitch however, with some royal observers picking up on some of the interesting clothing worn by the Prince.
One of the items of interest was a £5,500 watch he wore for the occasion - an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronometer 42mm Watch, which holds a strong sentimental meaning, according to Express.co.uk.
The luxurious watch was gift from his late mother Princess Diana given before her tragic death in 1997.
A favourite among watch collectors since the 1990s, its official description reads: "Since 1993, the OMEGA Seamaster Professional Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following.
The dial is also polished blue ceramic and features laser-engraved waves and a date window at six o’clock.
"The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the helium escape valve has been given a conical design.
"The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which can be seen through the sapphire-crystal on the wave-edged caseback."
Meanwhile, a body language analyst has said Prince William and Prince George's almost-identical behaviour at the match may signal a new stage in their father-son relationship.
The young prince appeared to mirror his dad's expressions at several points in the tense game, with him clutching his hands to his face and reacting similarly to a missed chance.
Commenting on the pictures, TV expert Judi James told Express.co.uk: "Mirroring, or postural echo, is a form of mimicry that can signal like-minded thinking, empathy, and even admiration or hero-worship."
"When George was smaller he could be seen deliberately copying his dad, looking very much like the chip off the old block.
"Now he is older, that mimicry looks from these pictures to have intensified.
"He dresses like William and the pair respond to the sporting action in ways that are at times identical, even when those responses look spontaneous."
The Prince of Wales is a long-time Villa fan, and has brought up his nine-year-old son to follow the club.
