Prince William, in his role as Patron of the FA, has met with new England manager Thomas Tuchel at Windsor Castle.
The Prince of Wales was joined by FA Chief Executive Mark Bullingham for the meeting on Tuesday afternoon, which comes as former Chelsea FC boss Tuchel takes charge of the national team ahead of a crucial period in English football.
William shared a photograph from the engagement on social media, saying: “Great to meet new @England manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time today, and hear about plans for the team”, followed by a flexed bicep emoji.

Tuchel has been handed the task of leading England to World Cup glory in the summer of 2026.
He will take his first steps towards that with March's opening qualifiers for the tournament against Latvia and Albania.
Tuchel is due to name his first England squad for those matches early next month.
