Prince William joked he'd 'obviously' win in a fight against Harry in resurfaced clip

As the title of Prince Harry's upcoming memoir Spare suggests, the bombshell book is set to explore his ongoing feud with his older brother, Prince William. The Duke of Sussex now claims that the pair's rift broke out into a physical altercation in 2019.

In a leaked extract of the explosive book, Prince Harry reportedly claims that his brother grabbed him by the collar and knocked him to the floor in a fight about his relationship with Meghan Markle.

This is the first time either of King Charles' sons have spoken about having any physical altercations, although Prince William light-heartedly joked about it during an interview in 2017.

The Prince and Princess of Wales spoke on BBC Radio 1 as part of their Heads Together campaign, a mental health charity they started with Prince Harry before he stepped back from Royal duties and moved to the US.

During the interview, presenter Scott Mills asks William: "I know everyone experiences a bit of sibling rivalry. If there was a fight between you and Harry, who would win?"

The then-Duke of Cambridge replies: "Well that's clearly obvious, me". Mills then asks why, and William simply says: "Because I'm bigger."

He and his wife Kate then laugh after the light-hearted exchange.

Since then the rift between William and Harry has worsened as the Sussexes distanced themselves from royal duties.

During a confrontation at his London home in 2019, William is believed to have called Meghan "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive," The Guardian reports.

A physical confrontation then broke out between them, Harry says, as William reportedly 'knocked' Harry 'to the floor' during their argument.

"He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."

Harry claims the confrontation happened at Nottingham Cottage, his bachelor pad which became his first home with Meghan before they moved to the US.

He claims the meeting was set up in an attempt to discuss the "whole rolling catastrophe" of their worsening relationship, however things quickly became heated.
