Prince William ‘can see mum-of-3 Kate getting broody again’ as he jokes 'no more'

Prince William is noticing his wife Kate Middleton 'getting broody again', according to a body language expert.

The Duke of Cambridge jokingly declared 'don't give my wife any more ideas... no more' as she cradled a baby during a royal engagement.

He made the cheeky comment to staff at Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire during a visit on Thursday.

As mum Kate handed the little girl back to her parents, William added 'don't take her with you'.

Body language expert Judi James has analysed the encounter and concluded that William is genuinely 'wary' about having any more kids.

The couple already have three children; Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.

Ms James told the Daily Express: "Kate is clearly totally entranced with and focused on this baby, smiling down at it and part-ignoring the cameras for the moment after smiling at them quickly."

She added that William adopts a 'fig-leaf barrier pose' beside the baby as he smiles at the cameras.

"William realises what’s going on at his side and starts glancing down at the baby too. He glances across and his smile turns into a grin, suggesting he really can see his wife getting broody again," Ms James said.

“He pretends to ‘attack’ the people around and the photographers, literally chopping the card in his hand in their direction as he says they are ‘giving her ideas’, adding ‘no more’ as he walks away.

"William’s fig-leaf barrier pose in the presence of the baby and his very besotted-looking wife does suggest he is genuinely wary about having any more children. His walk-away would suggest the same."

However, Ms James added that he was the first to bring up the prospect of further children and was also grinning during the heartwarming moment.

This could indicate he is not be as opposed to the idea of more kids as initially appeared.

Kate wore an elegant camel-coloured Massimo Dutti wool coat and and a turtleneck and skirt by Iris and Ink for the visit.

She also donned knee-high boots thought to be from Saint Laurent.

Meanwhile William wore a smart navy blue jacket, a burgundy jumper and a pale blue shirt.

The Mirror has previously reported how Kate and William are said to be content with having three children and have no plans to expand the family.

Royal documentarian Nick Bullen feels the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge probably won't have a fourth child in the years ahead.

Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton have five children and insiders last year suggested that she had always been keen to follow suit.

But the royal expert doesn't believe there is another sibling in store for Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and three-year-old Prince Louis.

Speaking to Us Weekly, the respected filmmaker said three is enough as the pair throw themselves into their charity work.
