Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing for their move from Kensington Place to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in the coming weeks.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 40, will be moving alongside their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The family's move, which will see them living closer to the Queen as she resides in Windsor Castle, will see a number of changes for the family as the new property is smaller than their vast Kensington Palace apartment.
One of those changes will be rather big for nine-year-old George, Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Louis as according to The Telegraph, the family's nanny will not be joining them in the new abode.
The three children are used to having Norland nanny Maria Borrallo living with them, but the change in residence will see her living elsewhere.
Maria will continue to be employed by the Cambridges, according to reports, but she will now live elsewhere, as well as a handful of other support staff who have "lived-in" with the family at their Kensington Palace home.
While the family's Kensington Palace apartment boasted five bedrooms and five reception rooms, Adelaide Cottage is said to have four bedrooms and be located in a more secluded area than Kensington Palace.
However, it was also added that Maria will "remain a key figure in the children's lives" but the move is said to welcome a new era for the family.
She joined the family when Prince George was just eight months old and has cared for the future King and his younger siblings since.
Meanwhile, the three children will also attend the same school in Berkshire.
George and Charlotte currently attend Thomas's Battersea school in London as it's believed they will move to Lambrook School from September, with their little brother also rumoured to be joining them, too.
Louis currently attends nursery and will be ready to make the transition to reception in September.
The young royals use different names while at school, as Prince George, who's full name is George Alexander Louis, goes by George Cambridge at school.
And Charlotte's full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, but she is simply known as Charlotte Cambridge at school, too. Louis is set to also follow the trend, which was also used by Prince William and Prince Harry as they attended school – they were known by their dad Prince Charles' title, Wales, as their surname.
Kate and William rarely speak about their private lives, but Kate's uncle opened up on their moving plans earlier this month.
Speaking to The Sun, Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith says it is a busy time for his niece - but the move is something she and Kate are ready for.
He told the publication: "William and Kate are going to have their hands full this summer as they move home to be nearer the Queen and settle the kids into a new school. But I think they are ready for the next chapter in their lives."
