Prince William and Kate 'like two teenagers in love at charity polo game', says body language expert

Prince William and Kate Middleton looked all loved up like 'two teenagers' and are ‘still very much besotted with each other’ at a charity polo game, says one expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen embracing at the Royal Charity Polo Match, after a fun filled day where they were also seen smiling and laughing together at Guards Polo Club on Wednesday. Despite being close to the 20 year milestone marking their romance, the future King and Queen are still just as obsessed with one another.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren reveals: “While attending the polo, we saw a different side to William and Kate as they were far more tactile than they usually allow themselves to be. What was most significant about the pictures of them at the event is how their intimate body language was able to denote what is going on in their relationship and how they feel about each other after 10 years of marriage."

The Duke was presented with a trophy by his 40-year-old wife after the match, as fans noticed William couldn't help but smile during the event. Darren adds: “There were numerous displays of public affection, which suggests that the couple clearly have no hesitation or reservation in letting the world know exactly how they feel about one another - when they deem it appropriate to do so.

“We saw William and Kate matching and mirroring each other’s body position and posture throughout their polo appearance - at one time both displaying a classic gesture of rapport as they held their hands on each other’s arms. William then kissed Kate on the cheek, showing that the pair are very much in love and have such a deep connection.”

The couple, who met and fell in love during their time together at St Andrews University, are still behaving like they were back then. Darren said: “The couple’s behaviour was reminiscent of two teenagers in love and gives an insight into what their relationship was like in its early stages.

"Kate and Will were more than relaxed within each other’s company and their appearance was much more informal than we usually see them when carrying out their Royal duties. Kate couldn’t hide her affection for her husband as she stared adoringly at him when playing during the match or speaking with others afterwards.

“Will showed the same level of affection in how tactile he was with Kate, wrapping his arms around her and protectively placing his hand on the small of her back. They both showed genuine expressions of joy and happiness around each other and there’s a great shot of Kate laughing ecstatically with a huge smile on her face, suggesting Will was clearly making her laugh. Humour seems to play a massive part in their relationship and the pair have the same quirks that make them laugh.”

Despite their almost two decade long romance, Darren says their rare display of PDA at the polo showed the strength in their relationship.

He adds: “You could see the delight on William’s face as he engaged in his love of polo and Kate was more than happy to cheer him on, stepping out in a purely supportive role at the event. It’s clear from their intimate display that they are completely genuine with one another and the way they feel about each other.

“While Kate and Will know when to hold back on public displays of affection where deemed less appropriate, it’s times like these when they do allow themselves to let go that we see they are still very much besotted by each other.”

The couple were accompanied by their family dog Orla on their outing to the polo, with Kate stroking the puppy whilst enjoying a glass of Pimms.
