The Prince and Princess of Wales are 'not expected to watch' Harry and Meghan's bombshell Netflix documentary after the first episodes were released today.
Kate and William have yet to comment on the series, the trailer for which dropped during their official trip to Boston last week.
The hour-long episodes — the first three of which were released on the streaming platform this morning — were anticipated to be "explosive" and the first instalment has proved to be full of revelations.
The series also provides a behind-the-scenes insight into the couple's family life, with shots showing their two young children Archie and Lilibet.
It's understood that there will be no official comment or response from the Palace.
William and Kate meanwhile are not expected to watch the series, The Sun reports, nor is it thought they will be responding publicly.
Meanwhile King Charles "sidestepped" reporters asking if he had watched the show when he appeared at a reception at King's Cross this morning, declining to answer one way or another.
The Sussexes, who are first in line to the throne, caught a commercial British Airways flight home from Boston this week after their three-day trip to the States, in which they hosted the Earthshot Prize in the Massachusetts city.
Many experts claimed the trailer for Harry and Meghan's series was dropped deliberately to time with the visit.
In the first episode of the series this morning opens with Meghan claiming, "they are destroying us".
The first scenes show Harry in Heathrow Airport in March 2020 as he prepared to leave the UK for the last time as a senior royal.
"This is about duty and service and I feel as though, being part of this family, it is my duty to uncover this exploitation and bribery that happens within our media," he says.
