Prince Louis often has playful request for mum Kate Middleton after finishing school

He may be the youngest of the Wales clan - but Prince Louis has finally joined his brother and sister at school.

The four-year-old attends Lambrook School alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte, with them all joining last September.

The school has previously been described as "pretty bucolic" and the youngest prince will be able to join "Forest Fridays" where the smallest pupils head into the school grounds to build dens and roast marshmallows near a fire.

And it seems Louis likes nothing more than spending time outdoors and often makes a request to mum Kate to spend time outdoors after a long day in class.

On a visit to Wales earlier this week, Prince William and Kate viewed a therapy garden at a rehabilitation centre, where the Princess enthused about the benefits that gardening and spending recreational time outside can bring.

She recalled her visit to a forest school in Denmark in February last year and how the children enjoyed campfire songs.

Kate, who is an ardent campaigner for the benefits of the great outdoors, described how her children, especially her youngest child, Prince Louis, four, enjoy time in the garden at school and at home.

"Louis comes home and says: ‘I need to get my energy out," she said.

It comes after William and Kate also shed light on some of the children's favourite hobbies while at the Wales v England rugby Six Nations match in Cardiff last weekend.

The pair told how George is now learning to tackle rather than playing the non-contact game tag rugby.

“They are trying to teach him the rules,” Kate said.

“They move them around for their confidence. Because he is tall, he has the physique.

“But then there is Louis coming. Charlotte also does rugby.”

It is believed all three children - including Louis - are set to present on May 6 in Westminster Abbey for their grandfather King Charles' Coronation.

And according to historian Dr Tessa Dunlop, history points to the children being seen in their finery alongside the adults.

She explained: "George alongside siblings Charlotte and Louis will be a big visual pull at the coronation – just as Prince Charles was at his mother's.

"Expect Charlotte in a dainty coronet [small crown] - perhaps even the one the late Queen wore to her father's coronation aged 10 - and the two brothers in frock coats and breeches.

"Kate loves dressing up her children, so objections are unlikely. And the money shot everyone will want is a snap of the three siblings in their finery alongside the King and the Queen on Buckingham Palace balcony after the service."
