Prince Louis' hilarious reaction to sweet treat as Kate reveals adorable nickname for youngest son

Prince Louis has got the hearts of royal fans aflutter once again after another priceless reaction by the youngster.

As we reported, the youngest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales has been out getting to work today on his first ever official job with the family as they headed to take part in the Big Help Out at 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough.

Louis was on his inaugural royal engagement with big brother and sister Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they helped to renovate and improve the building, writes the Mirror.

The five-year-old gave a helping hand to his dad the Prince of Wales when he took control of a digger, as Louis sat in his father's lap as he moved the mechanical arm and grabbed a bucket full of soil before dumping it on a spoil heap.

Louis then got to take a break, and he showed he's just as happy as anyone of his age when offered up a sweet treat.

In footage from the afternoon of work, Kate and a scout member can be seen helping keen Louis prepare a marshmallow biscuit sandwich, which he really could not wait to devour.

And as the adorable moment with the gooey s'mores unfolded, Kate revealed her nickname for her son - as she called him "Lou-Bugs" as she told him to put his wooden stick in the fire.

The little Prince then didn't waste a second getting the sticky s'more into his mouth and he had a great time as he licked the marshmallow off his fingers before tucking in.

In the background, William can be heard joking about his youngest son: "You won't hear a peep out of him now", which got the crowd chuckling.

After Louis took his first bite, he rolled his head backwards in sheer joy before he fell back on to Charlotte.

The young boy's priceless reactions amused his audience and garnered interest on social media, with royal fans besotted by his humorous ways.

The Prince missed last night's Coronation Concert due to his young age and the late finish, and it's safe to say he was missed by viewers.

But today, he re-joined the rest off the Wales crew to help with resetting a path, digging a new soakaway, sanding and varnishing the front door and creating a mural.

Later Louis was given the task of filling a wheelbarrow with what looked like builders' sand and he focused on the job, diligently shovelling the material before wheeling the barrow himself.

George was allowed to use a drill and concentrated as he worked making a hole in a piece of wood.

Charlotte was spotted painting what appeared to be doors and Louis tried his hand at interior decorating, making hand prints on a wall under the direction of the Princess of Wales.

The event was another milestone for Louis, who has made a number of official public appearances including attending the Christmas Day service at Sandringham with his parents and siblings.

Across the country people have been encouraged to devote some free time on the Monday of the coronation bank holiday weekend for the Big Help Out, aimed at showcasing volunteering.

The event was a change from Sunday night's star-studded coronation concert, where George and Charlotte waved Union flags, sang and sported glowing wristbands during the Windsor Castle event that featured global stars including Lionel Richie, Katie Perry and a host of celebrities from film, TV and theatre.
