Prince Louis' favourite vegetable is quite unusual for his age

It has been unveiled that Prince Louis has a favourite vegetable and it's quite sophisticated for his age. At just three years old, Prince Louis absolutely loves beetroots according to The Duchess of Cambridge.

Despite Prince Louis, Prince George and Princess Charlotte being members of The Royal Family and probably having free roam of the breakfast menu, it's hard not to pick your favourites. The Cambridge family have their own personal chefs meaning the world is your oyster.

Despite being only a few years old, Prince Louis doesn't just want to eat sweets all day but instead has a preference for his favourite vegetable - a beetroot. His mother confirmed his love for the vegetable when talking to Mary Berry on the BBC One show, a Berry Royal Christmas.

Catherine said: “One of Louis' first words was Mary, because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf. And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say 'that's Mary Berry' so he would definitely recognise you if he saw you today.”

The Duchess of Cambridge also appeared alongside the Queen of Cakes a few years prior. She spoke to the TV chef about her children’s food preferences and said: “We’ve got carrots, beans, beetroot - a massive favourite - Louis absolutely loves beetroot."

While visiting Lavender Primary School in Enfield, The Duchess shared that her children love to help their mum out in the kitchen and enjoy getting their hands messy and working together. Their speciality is cheesy pasta, which they all have designated jobs in making reports My London.

“One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in,” Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, said after a visit to the school in 2019. She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her."

It’s not surprising that the children love macaroni cheese but the Duchess also revealed that Princess Charlotte is a big fan of olives as well - a sophisticated snack for someone so young.
