Prince Harry has confirmed he will be at the King's Coronation on May 6.
The event at Westminster Abbey will welcome the Duke of Sussex - but Meghan Markle will stay at home.
The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation of his father but his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The Palace said in a statement: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.
"The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
It was already confirmed at the beginning of March that his father King Charles had invited his younger son and Meghan to the Coronation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said at the time they would be making a decision on attending at a later date.
Their spokesman said: "I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation."
Planning for the extravaganza on May 6 - the same day Meghan and Harry's son Archie turns four - is now in its final stages.
According to The Times, if both Harry and Meghan accepted the invitation, they would not take part in the procession out of the Abbey and back to Buckingham Palace with some of the other members of the Firm as it is being limited to working royals only.
It has also been reported that those making an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony will be working royals only - meaning Harry will potentially not feature.
It has also been reported that organisers had been planning for the Sussexes' attendance with one source telling the Daily Mail: "Harry and Meghan are being factored into all of the planning … the cars, the seating plans, dining arrangements, everything."
At the start of the year, whilst promoting his memoir Spare, Harry was asked about a his potential attendance at the Coronation.
He responded cryptically: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then. But, you know, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.
"There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they can - that they are willing to sit down and talk about it, because there's a lot that's happened in six years. And prior to that as well."
Buckingham Palace has yet to confirm exactly which royals will be taking part in the Coronation ceremony but reports have suggested there will be major roles for the Prince and Princess and Wales and their children.
