Prince Harry is set to be cut from King Charles ' coronation after a number of bombshell revelations from his upcoming book.
Tensions have been brewing in the Royal Family since Harry and Meghan's explosive US interview with Oprah and have been made worse since the pairs Netflix drama and Harry's claims from his new Spare memoir.
But now it seems the Duke of Sussex has gone a step too far and looks set to be completely cut from his father's coronation later this year as Charles scraps a centuries-old tradition.
Earlier this week excerpts from Harry's memoir were released and told of arguments with his brother Prince William, his drug-taking revelations and Harry boasting he has killed 25 Taliban members.
Royal Editor for the Sunday Times Roya Nikkhah said: "I can also reveal that Prince Harry has been written out of the script for the Coronation, with no official role in the service if he attends. Breaking with tradition, Charles will scrap royal dukes kneeling and paying homage to the monarch.
"Only William will perform that role."
The book has hit headlines after he revealed private details, including losing his virginity to an older woman, claims he and William got into a physical fight after the Prince of Wales labelled Meghan "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive".
He also said William and Kate were supportive of his ill-fated decision to don a Nazi uniform when he was 21 for a "natives and colonials" themed party.
A source told the Times : "If Harry does make it, he might be relieved to learn that he will not be required to kneel and pledge allegiance to his father.
"In a major break with tradition, Charles has scrapped the act of the royal dukes kneeling to “pay homage” before touching the crown and kissing the monarch’s right cheek.
"William will be the only royal to perform the tradition. A well-placed source says: “As things stand, there is no role for Harry in the service.”
