Prince Harry takes Princess Lilibet to 4th of July party over King's Scottish Coronation

Prince Harry attended a Fourth of July parade in the US earlier this week, with him having taken his youngest child Princess Lilibet along to the event on the federal holiday.

It came on the same day his dad King Charles celebrated his Scottish Coronation.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, relocated to the country with his wife Meghan Markle, 41, and their family in 2020, after having briefly lived in Canada and before that the UK.

He's commemorated Independence Day stateside in the years since having moved abroad with his wife and it appears that this year was no different for the family.

The father-of-two was spotted at a parade marking the occasion in Montecito, California, yesterday. He was joined by his daughter Princess Lilibet, two, at the event.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Prince Harry in a green shirt and a pair of jeans at the parade, which he accompanied with a baseball cap and some sunglasses.

He was seen carrying Princess Lilibet in his arms while at the event, with his daughter having worn a patterned blue dress, white socks and a pair of red shoes for the occasion.

According to PageSix, Prince Harry's wife Meghan - whom he has been married to since 2018 - and their eldest child Prince Archie, four, were also in attendance at the parade.

The parade that the family attended this week is said to have featured vintage vehicles - which had been decorated with the national flag - passing through the streets.

It came ahead of Prince Harry's father, King Charles III, 74, attending a coronation ceremony with other members of the Royal Family including Queen Camilla, 75, today.

The couple - who were officially coronated at a ceremony that was held at Westminster Abbey back in May - were honoured at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh yesterday.

King Charles was presented with Scotland's crown jewels - known as the Honours of Scotland - during what has been referred to as a "service of thanksgiving and dedication".

Among those who were in attendance at the coronation ceremony in Edinburgh were the monarch's eldest son Prince William, 41, and his wife Kate Middleton, also 41.

The event comes less than two months after King Charles III's official coronation, which was attended by various individuals, including his youngest son Prince Harry.
