Prince Harry has been spotted leaving Balmoral this morning after the tragic passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
A black Range Rover - understood to be carrying the Duke of Sussex - was seen leaving Balmoral Castle at around 8.15am while an armed police officer stood guard at the gates.
He was later seen at Aberdeen Airport where he boarded a flight to London after speaking with transport workers near the runway. The British Airways flight departed at 10.20am.
Harry raced to join loved ones at the Aberdeenshire estate after Buckingham Palace confirmed the Monarch was under the supervision of doctors yesterday afternoon.
But he only managed to arrive at around 8pm last night, just hours after the 96-year-old’s death was confirmed to the world.
Prince William, Prince Edward, his wife Sophie and Prince Andrew also dashed to Balmoral while King Charles III and Princess Anne were already at the Queen's bedside.
Harry’s wife Meghan, the duchess of Sussex, is understood to have stayed in London while Kate remained with her and William’s children.
