Prince Harry says mum Diana would be heartbroken about his broken bond with William

Prince Harry has admitted that he feels as though his late mum, Princess Diana, would be sad about his broken relationship with his older brother Prince William.

In a teaser released by Good Morning America, the Duke of Sussex admits the rift with William would leave their late mother devastated because throughout childhood, they were inseparable.

In recent years, rumours have been rife that William and Harry have been rowing, with their relationship being left completely broken.

After stepping down from his Royal duties alongside wife Meghan Markle back in 2020, Prince Harry began to speak out against the Royal family - something which has left William increasingly frustrated.

In his latest revelations, Prince Harry claimed that his older brother attacked him while he was at home in his cottage after the pair got into an altercation about Harry's wife, Meghan.

Harry alleged that there was a fight between him and the Prince of Wales after William called Meghan 'difficult', 'rude' and 'abrasive'.

In his bombshell new book, called Spare, Harry also reveals that William warned him against proposing to the former actress.

The latest trailer for Prince Harry' s tell-all ITV interview with Tom Bradby - which will air on ITV on Sunday - sees the the Duke of Sussex insist that there are 'two sides to every story' as he suggests that the Royal family have won the battle so far.

Ahead of the bombshell ITV interview, Harry is seen talking to the journalist about the 'red mist' he noticed in older brother Prince William following a physical altercation between the two which occured in his cottage.

The Duke admitted reconciliation is what he wants but he insists that 'first, there needs to be some accountability'.

"The truth, supposedly, at the moment, has been there’s only one side of the story, right? But, there’s two sides to every story," Harry says in the new trailer.

Prince Harry also further opens up about his alleged fight with William, after he claims his older brother broke his necklace by grabbing him and then pushed him to the ground, where he fell on a dog bowl and hurt his back.

In the latest trailer drop, Harry claims his brother was looking for him to retaliate, but he resisted.

Opening up on their dispute, which Prince Harry also describes in his new autobiography titled Spare, he said: "What was different here was the level of frustration, and I talk about the red mist that I had for so many years, and I saw this red mist in him.

"He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to."

Harry: The Interview airs on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on 8 January.
